I’m New

AT Ladysmith Christian Church YOU CAN EXPECT PEOPLE WHO WILL LOVE YOU AND ENCOURAGE YOU TO GROW IN YOUR WALK WITH JESUS.

You can expect:

  • A warm welcome and a cup of coffee

  • A casual atmosphere. Wear whatever clothes you are comfortable wearing. We are more concerned about your journey with Jesus than the clothes you wear

  • A clear message from God’s Word each Sunday

  • Worship service that lasts 60 to 75 minutes

  • Communion each Sunday morning. This is for all who have made a commitment to be a follower of Jesus

  • An opportunity to be involved in church life

  • Kids programs that are fun and led by caring, loving children's and youth workers.

  • Meaningful worship. We are not “edgy” but we are upbeat!

  • Our worship service times are Sunday mornings at 8:30 am and 10:00 am. Both services are identical so come to whichever fits your schedule

  • A Bible-focused adult study group meets at 10:00 a.m.

  • Kid Zone meets at 10:00 am Sunday morning. Check in and pick up is downstairs for kids age 3 thru 5th grade

  • Wednesday night IMPACT features a meal at 5:15 pm and short worship and Bible groups for ages 3 thru adults from 6 to 7 p.m. This runs from September thru April

Kids & Students

Kids

All children ages 3 through 3rd grade are encouraged to participate in our Kids Zone program that goes the duration of the service. Kids Zone is an opportunity for them to learn about God at their age level.

We also have a staffed nursery for newborns to age 3.

All our volunteers and screened and trained to provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for your child.

Check-In any of your children that will be in the nursery or Kids Zone prior to service. Kids Zone check-in is on our lower level and you can use the stairs that are located immediately to the left inside our front entrance.

Students (Grades 6-12)

We love the crazy, quirky, energy and passion of Jr. and Sr. High  Students. Our student ministry will do its best to point students toward Christ. We will challenge our students to serve, to love, and to learn. Junior and Senior High years can be a challenge, but we have caring adults who will model Christ and give great support to each student.

We do a variety of activities including camps, trips, worship and small group learning times.

We meet Wednesday evenings each week, all year long! Summer brings several different outings like kayaking, bonfires, 9 square, movie nights and more!
